Time to Create Your 2020 Buying Success Plan

Time to Create Your 2020 Buying Success PlanAs we come to the end of 2019 it’s time to do your clothing review and create your 2020 Buying Success Plan.

I would like you to end the year on a positive rather than negative note.

A Different Approach

Time to Create Your 2020 Buying Success PlanIt’s very easy to fall into the default thinking of concentrating on your mistakes and sinking into self-pity. Then you ask yourself ‘How can I change this?’ and you make resolutions that will be forgotten by the end of January.

I believe in a different approach – ‘Repeating Success rather than Fixing Failure’. You did many things right this year with the additions you added to your wardrobe. It’s time to look at what you did right so that you can do more of it in 2020. It’s much easier to repeat success, especially when you have done it once or a few times before, than to come up with new ways to fix your failures.

Finding Your 2020 Buying Success Plan

Go to your wardrobe and find one item that you bought this year that gave you lots of good feelings every time you wore it. It could be an item of clothing or an accessory.

Whether you have had your colours and style done or not, pick up that item and decide what about it made it a great buy. Was it?

🥰 the colour;
🥰 the pattern;
🥰 the fit;
🥰 that it goes with lots of other items to create multiple looks;
🥰 how it made you feel;
🥰 that you got lots of compliments;
🥰 the ease of looking after it
🥰 or a brand that seems to understand and reflect the woman you are

It may take reviewing all your 2019 purchases that you love owning and wearing to see a picture emerging.

Now you have criteria for buying clothes and accessories in 2020 that make more of who you are.

Here’s My Example as a Guide

Time to Create Your 2020 Buying Success PlanThese shoes are from Django and Juliette, one of my favourite brands, as they make shoes with a touch of difference. These are my go-to shoes when I want to look classic with a secret twist and they add a bit of drama and I feel a bit sexy when I put them on. Remember it’s about how you feel not what others think of your choice of clothes and accessories. They are comfortable, easy to clean and versatile. All in all, I like wearing them and they give me a spring in my step.

What Will Your Mistakes Add to Your 2020 Buying Success Plan

And if you are feeling brave, pull out any items that you only wore once, twice or never in 2019. Where those items failed your list above are important criteria for being who you are.

The Unashamed Plug

Buying new items becomes easier when you have a simple criteria list. Fashion can be confusing.

If you don’t have a set of shopping criteria that covers your complimentary colours and patterns, your most flattering styles and your unique personality, call me on 0407 137 264 to arrange your 30 minute ‘Ready for Success’ Discovery Session.
